For the New Year

Happy New Year! I have been thinking a lot about goals and improvements that I should make in the new year and have really enjoyed reading Ashley Neese's series on creating a vision for 2014. I still have some thinking to do but i thought it would help to get a rough list out in the open. I have started a list of more specific TO DO's but here are my goals so far,
for day-to-day:

- Eat simply and slowly.
- Less extra/freelance work for now; use the time to go to bed early, wake up early,
exercise, read more.
- Spend more time with friends & family.
- Drink less alcohol & coffee, more water & tea.
- Start a reward system for spending. (eg. save 1000/spend 100)
- No more phone-checking in bed.
- Choose personal projects to start and finish, limit time spent, give deadlines.
- Check social media only once a day.
- Be mindful of time and savouring moments.
- Choose a hobby/evening class to pursue.
- Make a summer plan, take adv of long weekends.
- Take risks, stop being afraid of failure.
- Be patient and slow down.

Some highlights from 2013: Loved ones, getting Snacks, New York trip with Aprile, 
and visiting Mexico for the first time with Jacob.
